Advanced Diploma in Counseling Psychology is a ONE-YEAR certified program conducted in LOS ANDES INSTITUTE conducted both ONLINE and OFFLINE starting in every January and June batches for Teachers, Counselors, Social Workers, Personnel in Managerial Posts, Personnel in HRM, Religious and Priestly Formation. The Course practically deals with basic theories of Counseling and Psychotherapy. The following are the areas covered in this course: Learning of Therapeutic Techniques and Procedures and their Applications;  Analyzing personality in Psychotherapeutic background; Psychoanalysis and Existential Therapy from a Multicultural Perspective; Cognitive Behavior Therapy; Third wave therapies; Narrative Therapy; Feminist Therapy; Development of Family Systems and a Multi-layered Process of Family Therapy, Therapeutic approach for Development in relationships and skills; Disorders of Infancy, childhood and adolescence; Major and common mental disorders; depression and anxiety; Personality Disorders and Sexual and gender related issues in Counseling; Community mental health and prevention of mental disorders. The content given above varies depending on the target group.
