Fr. Shemil Jose Vallavanattu OCD

Fr. Shemil Jose Vallavanattu OCD studied MSc counselling psychology(regular) at Montfort college, Bengaluru. The MSc program included practicum under a qualified supervisor, case presentations to the entire college, both individual and group supervision and a research study. As a trainee counsellor he completed three hundred hours of practicum and finished five hundred hours of experience as a professionally qualified counselor. Family therapy and group therapy are his areas of specialization, with over two hundred hours of experience in family therapy and a few group therapy sessions as well. His areas of interest are individual counselling, family therapy and group therapy. He has conducted psychological webinars for different age groups. Besides, he has been to different schools in Kerala and outside Kerala for psychological classes and individual counselling. At present, he is providing couseling services at Shalini Bhavan, Sion, Mumbai.
